First Choice is owned and run by Ken Mulchi, a licensed North Carolina contractor who still works on systems himself.

For more than twenty years we have specialized in residential heating and air across the Charlotte area, with a husband-and-wife technician team and a small, experienced crew. Our techs stay with us, so the person at your door is someone who knows the work, not a rotating dispatch number.

We hold ongoing training, use quality materials, and work hard to finish each job on time and to the satisfaction of the homeowner. That is not a slogan. It is what honesty and character look like on a service call.
